Chocolate Caramel Nut Tart By Fodder & Plonk

Sunday, 18 October 2015 09:53:09 Europe/London

This is the ultimate dinner party dessert to share with friends and family.  It is the final recipe created for Eight Hour Studio and is based around 'Play' - what better note to finish on?  It’s been a firm winner when I’ve shared it with friends and family (‘Free From or not) – nobody can believe the secret ingredient! The base is delicious and can be used for any number of pies/tarts - toasting the oats and nuts gives it a great depth of flavour.

Eight Questions with Alana of Fodder & Plonk

Friday, 28 August 2015 22:44:47 Europe/London

Alana has two passions in life – food and styling. Her blog, Fodder & Plonk, brings those two passions together into a website which has stunning photography, and recipes to die for! Recipes, we might add, which can be tried guilt free given they are healthy and delicious. Alana spent many a day during her childhood in the kitchen with her Mum and Gran, helping and learning, while her love of food was cultivated.

The styling element of Alana’s life comes from a background in design as well as, in Alana’s words, ‘a love of cookbooks and a slightly unhealthy obsession with crockery, cutlery and all other kitchen paraphernalia!’ A girl after our own hearts! Alana is also the Food Editor for the fab Betty Magazine.

We wanted to catch up with Alana to find out more about how she lives her passion for food, styling, wellness and some good old fashioned R&R. Read on to find out more…
